The truck overturned in the westbound lanes near exit 42 - Route 202/Littleton Road in Parsippany around 9:50 a.m., 511NJ reported.
All lanes were closed as emergency crews responded.
Meanwhile, traffic was getting by using the exit 42A-B ramp, preventing serious delays, 511NJ said.
The local fire department also responded to contain a fluid spill, and the Department of Transportation was at the scene, initial reports said.
